Social activist Manmohan Gupta to donate Rs 1.51 Lakh for Maharashtra Drought


Mumbai.Rajasthan Mewad Prawasi Sangh, Mumbai conducted an event in Borivali on occassion of Holi on 27th March 2013, where thousands of Rajasthanis celebrated the event and Mayor Sunil Prabhu was the Chief Guest.

On the occasion, Social worker Manmohan Gupta of Malad (West) based Gandhi Vichar Manch’s President demanded interlinking of rivers and construction of dams, so that water reaches farmer and common people. 

Manmohan Gupta also announced Rs 1.51 Lakh for Maharashtra's fund for drought affected areas. He is scheduled to meet Chief Minister Prithviraj Chauhan for donating the money and demanding river interlinking.

Gopal Shetty, Vinod Ghoshalkar, Govind Purohit, Ramesh Paliwal,Asavari Patil, Ratan Singh Rathore (tura), Natwar Purohit, Pramod Purohit, Varadsingh Pathedi and Raghunath Singh Sarana were in attendance.
