Serial Latpataganj - Ek Bar Phir on SAB TV is very popular. Shilpa Shinde, who played key roles in serials like Bhabhi, Maiyka, Chidiya Ghar , is playing the role of a Catholic Girl - Mary D'mello in Lapataganj. Vineet Raina will now play her boyfriend's role in the serial. Both have been previously seen in Maiyka 6 years back in 2008. Just like in Maiyka, both will play a romantic role in this serial too but with a comedy touch. Shilpa Shinde says, "I feel good that I am working with Vineet again. Hope audience will like us too. Vineet played Inspectors role in Maika and he will be playing the same role in this serial too."
